Biography
Amin Nemati is a co-founder of Genar. His career began in the emerging startup scene and went on to Iran’s financial and capital markets. He has also been active in digital assets and fintech, including collaborations with some of the largest Iranian institutions in the cryptocurrency space, as well as real-estate crowdfunding.
This near-decade of experience has given him a practical understanding of how decisions are structured in finance and of the challenges around financial processes. Along the way, his focus turned to intergenerational transfer in families of wealth — where the central question is not creating assets, but sustaining the ability to manage them in the next generation.
His background in the performing arts informs his attention to how structures of presentation and framing shape the understanding of complex ideas — with the conviction that how a problem is framed directly affects the quality of the decisions made about it.
